This project required us to look at The Village housing on Auburn University's campus. Correlating with plans for the redesign of Parkerson Mill Creek, we were asked to come up with a redesign that was both sustainable and visually compelling. I proposed that we re-designed the surrounding areas with both an urban wild as well as a water feature. Part of my idea mandated the use of both a greywater system and a stormwater collection system.

I took a look at some of the existing vegetation, and after doing some research, suggested a few additional plant species that could thrive in this area.
I carefully selected a few species of plants that would not only thrive well in the Alabama climate, but would also be compatible with the existing plant species in The Village. In the case of the Pink Muhly, it is able to withstand a drought and also provides nourishment for wildlife that feeds off of the seeds it produces.

I designed a simplistic water feature to be implemented in the green space in front of the Auburn Arena. This feature also incorporated some of the proposed plant life
