what is Mosaic Theater Company?
Mosaic Theater Company is a theater company funded and sponsored by the Dean's office within the College of Liberal Arts at Auburn University. Under the direction of Dr. Tessa Carr, we create and perform original pieces about issues of diversity and inclusion, as well as social justice issues. These pieces are derived from our thoughts and personal experiences, and aim to invoke dialogue about the issues that we are passionate about.

I have been a member of Mosaic Theater Company since April of 2017. Since being a part of the ensemble, I have gotten to step outside of my comfort zone and perform pieces about issues that I am passionate about. This opportunity has given me a new network of friends, new experiences, insight and confidence. These are just a few of the events that we have performed at:

-
2017 Leo Twiggs exhibit at the Jule Collins Smith Museum of Fine Arts
-
2017 Engagement Scholarship Consortium Conference in Birmingham, AL
-
2018 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Scholarship Breakfast
-
2018 Patti Pace Performance Festival hosted by Kennesaw State University
-
2018 CLA Diversity Symposium at Auburn University
-
2018 Petit Jean Performance Festival in Morrilton, AR
